Premeno with the new formulation is now available.

The non-hormonal treatment of vaginal atrophy due to menopause. The active ingredient of Premeno vaginal ovules is hyaluronic acid 5mg as sodium salt. The product is used in gynecology as adjuvant therapy for the recovery process in atrophy and dystrophy of the vaginal epithelium. This is for example due to estrogen deficiency during menopause.

New Formulation Premeno

Due to changed laws and regulations, Premeno is getting a new formulation. This means that the composition has changed slightly, the active ingredient Hyaluronic Acid has remained the same.
In addition, Vitamin A and Vitamin E have been added, below is the new composition:

• Each 2 g vaginal ovule contains: hyaluronic acid sodium salt 5.00 mg, tocopheryl acetate 1.00 mg, retinyl palmitate 1.00 mg, semisynthetic glyceride as needed;
• The dosage will also start to change the recharge dose will become 1 ovule per day for 14 days.
  The maintenance dose will remain unchanged 1 ovule every 3 days;
• Because of this new dosage, a package of Premeno will now contain 14 ovules instead of the 10 ovules and the price will now be €14.95. Based on the maintenance dosage, this means a monthly cost savings.

Why are women dissatisfied and compliance is low with estrogen treatment?

Adherence to therapy is low, the cause: women experience insufficient effectiveness and do not like the administration.
