Reliability
The new shape and its functioning have been investigated in several independent studies in the US. The research showed that the Caya pessary is non-inferior to the classic pessary. The Pearl index of the Caya pessary is comparable to that of the classic pessary and is between 1 – 3.5.

Contraindications
- First 6 weeks postpartum
- If previously a 60mm, 85mm or larger diaphragm had to be used
- Pronounced vaginal (apex) or uterine prolapse. – Acute or chronic recurrent UTI
- Small or absent retropubic space

If irritation occurs when using Prefert® vaginal gel, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Keep out of reach of children.
