How do I use the Active3 / Manual Erection System?
The erection systems are easy to use. Before using the system, it is important to shave any pubic hair around the base of the penis, this will prevent the system from vacuuming properly. Use some lubricant at the base of the penis so that the erection system can vacuum properly and air cannot escape. The videos below clearly show how to use the system.

Erectile pump maintenance
It is important to clean all parts (except the pump head) thoroughly after use. This can be done with lukewarm water and (a disinfectant) soap. When the system is dry it can be returned to the supplied pouch.
The system is made of high quality materials and will generally not break down quickly.
The pressure rings will wear out with use and will need to be replaced after some time. Always use a water-based lubricant such as Animé.
Warranty erection pump
All components of the Active3 and Manual Erection System, with the exception of the pressure rings, are guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty is void if the system is not used according to the instructions in the manual.
When parts become defective, after the warranty period has expired or due to improper use, they can always be reordered separately.
Health insurance reimbursement
Assistive devices for erectile dysfunction are not reimbursed within the basic health insurance. Some supplementary insurances offer the possibility of some reimbursement. Please inquire with your health insurance company.
Pressure Rings
When using the Active3 / Manual Erection System, the erection is maintained through the use of a special constriction ring. These are specially designed for use with erection systems, made of very soft and colorless artificial rubber. Each pressure ring has two “eyes” so you can easily apply or remove the ring.
The pressure rings are available in different sizes:

3 – 15mm

5 – 21mm
The Active3 / Manual Erection System comes standard with sizes 1 through 5.
After achieving an erection with the Active3 / Manual Erection Sytem, the pressure ring is slipped around the base of the penis. The pressure ring prevents blood from flowing out of the penis. As a result, the erection is maintained.
The constriction rings may seem small but the pressure rings have just the right size and elasticity to maintain an erection without being painful.
How do you determine the right size?
Determining the right size is important for optimal results. If the ring is too small, it will be painful and if it is too large, the erection will not last long enough.
You can determine the right size by trying out in advance which compression ring is most comfortable for you. We always recommend starting with the largest size and going down one size at a time until a good erection is achieved and pressure ring fits comfortably.
Note
The pressure rings should not be left on the penis for more than 30 minutes. Also be careful not to fall asleep with the pressure ring still on. Always use a water-based lubricant such as Animé
Lubricants
Using the AES or MES requires the use of lubricant. Which lubricant is best to choose?
Animé Lubricant
Animé is a relatively new water-based lubricant with hyaluronic acid. This composition ensures that Animé can be used not only for applying pressure rings but also for vaginal application on the partner.
Animé is ideally suited for use in combination with the Active3 or Manual Erection System or as a vaginal lubricant.
