Vaginal dryness is a common and unpleasant problem that affects women of all ages. Diabetes, stress, treatment for conditions such as ovarian cancer or breast cancer, menopause, and breastfeeding can all be causes of vaginal dryness.

Many women with cancer will therefore undergo radiation therapy, receive chemotherapy, or follow long-term anti-estrogen therapy in addition to surgical intervention as part of their treatment.
Sexuality should primarily be fun and pleasurable. Unfortunately, this pleasure is sometimes disrupted by pain during intercourse. This occurs mainly in women, but men can also experience it. The medical term for this is dyspareunia.

Itching is an unpleasant and irritating sensation that makes you want to scratch. Vulvar itching is common, and every woman experiences itching of the labia regularly. This is normal. However, if the itching is so severe that it causes significant discomfort or persists for a long time, the cause should be investigated.
