Here’s how to use Evagynal once-daily vaginal solution correctly.
Evagynal
Evagynal is a very easy-to-use vaginal solution that helps you address the unpleasant effects and odor of bacterial vaginosis.
Evagynal very easy to use:
- Hold the vial with the angled flat part of the cap, on top of the vial, facing you. Push the flat part of the cap away from you until it breaks.
- Remove the sterile cannula from the package and insert it into the vial until it remains firmly in place.
- Take a lying, sitting or squatting position, such as over the toilet, in the shower or in the bathtub.
- Carefully insert the cannula into the vagina until halfway to the end of the cannula.
- Squeeze the vial completely empty in a number of times. Follow any instructions from your attending physician.
Suggested use:
Rinse vaginally once.After a previous course of antibiotics, repeat flushing 4 days after the first flush.
Symptoms not gone after 4 to 7 days?
If the symptoms have not completely disappeared after 4 to 7 days, you may apply Evagynal again.
Can I use Evagynal monthly to prevent bacterial vaginosis?
If you suffer from recurrent bacterial vaginosis, we do not recommend using Evagynal preventively on a monthly basis. The reason for this is that the flush also flushes out the good lactobacilli and disturbs the vaginal flora.
When there is bacterial vaginosis there is no harm at that time there are no to very few good lactobacilli in the vaginal flora.
